It is such a privilege to have you browsing the site. I would love to provide you with some insight into my background and how the range came to be. I created Edible Beauty in 2014 whilst working as a naturopath in a natural fertility clinic. I was recommending that in addition to changes to their food and lifestyle routines, my patients make changes to their personal care products. I was shocked to find that there were very few options available for skincare products that were "edible" and that were luxurious and therapeutic. As a result, I embarked on creating my own range of skincare products. I was literally whipping shea butter, cocoa butter and rose water in my mother’s cake mixer and started sharing my creations with friends and family. After much research, courses, cosmetic chemist meetings, Edible Beauty Australia skincare range was born. Recognising that our beauty and health begins from the inside I embarked on simultaneously creating a tea range to address health issues form the inside. This reflects my holistic take on beauty and addresses the need for an “inside” and “outside” approach to clear and youthful skin. What we often do not realise is that what we put both on and in our bodies is affecting our vitality. The Edible Beauty tea range reflects herbal formulas which I provide to my clients within my naturopathic practice for common conditions which are detracting from our beauty and clear skin. They are filled with antioxidant rich herbs and botanicals to address health and beauty from the inside. Prior to becoming a naturopath I worked in the finance industry. The diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at the age of 18 marked a turning point in my life as I began to search for natural solutions to manage my auto-immune condition. I fell in love with herbal remedies and nutrition and studied naturopathy on the side until I was able to make my passion my career. I hope you love the experience of using my herbal teas and skincare as I much as I have delighted in creating them. B.Com (Honours) Anna’s career began in the corporate sector, where she specialised in corporate finance and private banking for over ten years working in Sydney and New York for a large Australian bank. Anna’s career change was sparked by her own health journey, following a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at 18 years of age. Her diagnosis triggered her intense study of botanicals and nutrition to manage auto-immune condition and assist others in attaining optimal health. Anna has been involved in the pursuit of herbal medicine and nutrition for over 15 years, with a focus on fertility, women’s and chidlren’s health. Anna’s naturopathy career has included working as a naturopath within a reputable natural fertility clinic in Sydney, within a pharmacy and health food store and running her own naturopathy practice. Anna is committed to creating products founded on naturopathic philosophies, using wildcrafted and exotic ingredients and encouraging her clients and people who use her skin care to nourish their skin, from the inside-out.
