Avocado Oil, forms the base of our lip oil, we love eating it and love it on our lips. It is a rich oil abundant in fatty acids, making it the ideal rejuvenator for dry and chapped lips. With a particularly high content of Vitamins A,B,D, E along with nourishing fats, it has a wonderful ability to hydrate the lips whilst protecting the skin against the elements. 

Broccoli Seed Oil, contains an abundance of skin-soothing fatty acids including Omega 6s and 9s. These nutrients deliver intense nourishment to replace lost moisture and work to calm dry and unhappy lips. It absorbs well into the lip to lock in moisture and keep skin feeling hydrated and resilient. 

Hydrogenated Hemp Seed Oil, has been used in this lip oil for its abundance of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's) (over 70%). EFA's mimic the skin's natural oil barrier which makes hemp a powerful hydrator for dry and chapped lips. It is particularly beneficial for soothing irritated and dry lips. In this formula, Hemp Seed Oil imparts rich and decadent oil hydration.

Jojoba Seed Oil, is not a liquid oil as such but a wax which mimics the natural wax esters of the skin. It a precious moisturiser in that it mimics the makeup of human skin cells which makes it effective in preventing transdermal water loss and retaining lip moisture.

Apple Seed Extract contains an abundance of quercetin and fibronectin, two compounds essential for maintaining healthy lip skin. Linoleic acid contained in the fruit mimics the skin’s natural oils and works to deeply hydrate and nourish the lips. Natural AHAs found in the fruit help to create a barrier on the skin, helping to reduce water loss and lock in hydration for a long-lasting supple and hydrated pout.

Application

Use this superfood lip quencher during the day to restore lip hydration. If your lips are very dry, we recommend regular application throughout the day. Can also be used under the eye area for ultra-hydration. Note, this lip oil does not work like a lip gloss, it provides lip hydration to replenish moisture on dry and chapped lips, but if you are after a cosmetic lip gloss finish you will need to apply your lipstick or gloss afterwards.

*If your oil is not free flowing from the roller, push the ball against a hard surface and this will improve the flow.
