While there are so many benefits to making the switch (hello naturally less B.O. and numerous environmental benefits), transitioning from your conventional deodorant or antiperspirant to a natural deodorant may feel a bit daunting at first. To make the transition easier we would love to share with you some information on what to expect when making the switch.
Before we dive into what you can expect while making the transition to a natural deodorant, let’s unpack how they work compared to a conventional deodorant.
Unlike conventional anti-perspirant deodorants, natural deodorants do not stop your body from perspiring, rather, they work to combat odour and odour-causing bacteria, hence preserving your natural skin microbiome.
Mainstream deodorants and anti-perspirants contain ingredients such as propylene glycol and aluminium salts, which block sweat glands and stop the natural process of sweat. Sweating is not a body action we want to stop as it allows our bodies to excrete toxins and maintain a healthy body temperature.
Our Natural, Zero Waste Deodorant is powered by effective botanical actives including Magnesium Hydroxide, Zinc Ricinoleate and Triethyl Citrate along with anti-microbial Coconut Oil. They work to neutralise odour-causing bacteria by trapping and absorbing odour molecules and inhibiting the breakdown of sweat by bacteria which causes body odour.
The formula also contains Bamboo extract, which helps to absorb sweat and moisture, keeping your underarms fresh and dry.
It’s important to remember that natural deodorants are designed to allow your body to sweat the way it is supposed to do. Sweating allows our bodies to excrete toxins and maintain a healthy temperature, so it’s not something we want to stop!
Sweating is not the cause of body odour. Body odour is caused by the bacteria on your skin reacting with your sweat. Natural deodorants are designed to neutralise this bacteria and therefore prevent B.O.
A great tip for keeping your underarms dry is top opt for a natural deodorant that contains Bamboo. Bamboo can hold up to 200% its own weight in sweat and oil, so is fantastic for keeping you dry and fresh throughout the day, without blocking your sweat glands and stopping your body from sweating completely.
Our Natural, Zero Waste Deodorants are powered by botanical actives such as Magnesium Hydroxide, Zinc Ricinoleate and Triethyl Citrate, which work to prevent and neutralise odour-causing bacteria and neutralise the body's natural pH whilst allowing the body to perspire.
Our deodorants are Zero Waste – which means that once you are finished the product, there is literally nothing left over!
This also means that you will be applying the product with your hands, which may feel a little foreign and take some getting used to.
To apply your natural deodorant block, simply swipe it across your underarms 2-3 times, applying some slight pressure. The warmth of your skin will soften the product to facilitate application.
Not all natural deodorants are created the same, use this checklist when searching for a natural deodorant to ensure you are getting the most out of your product:
Minimal packaging is always a bonus, preferably zero waste
]]>Spring is here! As we are coming out of the slump that was winter, there is no better time than now to really kickstart your health and wellbeing regime and get yourself on track to being your happiest and healthiest self!
Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of talking to 5 of our favourite health and wellness gurus to find out their go-to detox or health tip for spring! Here’s what they had to share…
]]>Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of talking to five of our favourite health and wellness gurus to find out their go-to detox or health tip for spring! Here’s what they had to share…
My favourite detox tip is to up the ante on your fibre intake. Surprisingly, the majority of us do not reach our daily intake of 30 grams of fibre. I recommend making the effort to incorporate: 3 cups of vegetables (eg broccoli, carrots, zucchini, green beans, sweet potato, pumpkin, asparagus, peas etc), 1 cup of whole grains (brown rice, quinoa, millet, oats etc), 3 tablespoons of flaxseed meal and a serve of fruit daily to increase your fibre intake. You will not only feel more satiated, but your digestive system will also start to clear out a lot of waste, your hormones will balance, and your skin will benefit very quickly!
Spring is probably the easiest time to eat seasonal produce as this season brings a plentiful supply of fresh, colourful fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are abundant with nutrients which are essential to give our bodies the best chance of staying well, as well as helping to strengthen our immune systems - never has this been more important. Therefore, our top Spring tip would have to be incorporating as much seasonal produce (organic where possible) into your diet, both raw and cooked, as well as staying hydrated!
When it comes to detoxing, my recommendation is to get creative and innovative with your food preparation.
Try raw zucchini pasta as a substitute to traditional wheat-based pasta, use raw cacao for healthy chocolate treats and stevia, monk fruit, or coconut syrup when making something sweet. Do not deprive yourself when detoxing as it is possible to enjoy nourishing treats. For a sweet pick me up when detoxing, my Raw Crackle and Crunch treats to hit the spot without spiking your sugars or sabotaging your detox goals.
Spring brings sunshine, warmer and longer days, It’s the perfect time to reset and renew and implement a few holistic wellness practices. I am really enjoying early morning pilates, bush walks in my local area and the refreshing Edible Beauty Beauty Dew to kickstart my day (mixed into sparkling water - my favourite).
Reset your digestive system! A 1-3-day vegetable juice cleanse is a wonderful way to give your digestive system a break and detox your body.
Another one of my favourite tips is to take a break from technology for the weekend. Turning off notifications can do wonders for your mind. Constantly being “switched on” with constant social media messages, texts, phone calls and emails can activate the stress response and increase your feelings of distraction.

We had a group of 33 participants aged between 30 and 65 use our anti-ageing serum twice a day along with their usual skincare routine for four weeks in July 2020. This is what they found:

Tell us a bit about yourself! What inspires you?
I grew up in the world of textiles, my father imported some of the most beautiful textiles from Europe and Asia so I think my appreciation for the craft is in my DNA. The extraordinary people we work with inspire me, for me India has been a huge part of my life and the connections with the people has had a profound impact on the path I have traveled.
What lead you to where you are today and owning your businesses? Was this something you always dreamt of doing?
There have been so many moments where I have realized this is my purpose and my absolute passion, I don’t think I could have dreamt of this being my reality but I am so happy it is. Artisans of Fashion was a side project – I was in branding & design at the time - founded with the specific purpose to promote the extraordinary artisan skills and give a voice to the marginalised in the context of the highly influential fashion industry, I saw it as an opportunity for fashion to do good and not only provide dignified employment to these people but to give the artisans the acknowledgement and respect they deserve.
Cloth & Co. was then founded in partnership with my daughter Daisy who has a Masters in International Business with the objective to make our work with the artisans and women’s cooperatives sustainable, we wanted to prove (as much to ourselves) that it was possible to have a truly sustainable business that could actually have a fundamental impact on people’s lives as well as have a minimal impact on the environment.
70% of the people we work with are women and from a humanitarian perspective, knowing the work we do is making a positive impact on these people’s lives is highly rewarding and is key to what motivates us.
Can you tell us about the women’s cooperatives, communities and ethical factories you work with?
We work with a number of different groups from across India and in Nepal where there are specific skills that we feel are a good fit for Cloth & Co. and where we feel confident we can provide ongoing work. From our weavers in Lalitpur in Nepal who weave our beautiful signature hand loomed linen scarves to the all-women design, manufacturing and skill development ‘eco system’ we work with in Delhi that trains and employs migrant women from the slums and are now working on our new linen collection that will be launched in Spring.
We are in love with the gorgeous and versatile designs you have created for Cloth & Co. What was the inspiration for your pieces?
Simplicity is at the core with the concept behind our designs based on creating timeless pieces that are versatile and flattering on most body types. From our classic crew T-Shirt to our ever popular slub jersey lounge pants, we love the idea that our pieces can be worn for lounging or working from home and are also easily dressed up with a scarf or a denim jacket to wear out. Our colour palette is based on hues from nature and can be interchanged within the collection.
Do you have a favourite piece that you have created? (I personally love the Raspberry Beach Towel)
Our hand loomed scarves are definitely up there as a favourite, and of course our signature linen scarves are an accessible luxury - for a number of reasons but mainly because the group of women who produce these for us are incredible, the quality is exceptional and they have achieved this against all odds. Most of these women have come from extremely vulnerable situations and worked so hard for their independence, it’s so inspiring to work with them.
How is it working as a mother and daughter team?
Daisy and I are quite different with complimentary strengths and have always had a close relationship. She’s the Yin to my Yang or vice versa. We travelled to India when she was 15, and spent a few weeks working at an orphanage, really I think this was the seminal moment for us. It was on a train trip to Rishikesh where we dreamt up the concept for Artisans of Fashion and once she had finished her Masters, Cloth & Co. came into being.
We love that two of the main values behind Cloth & Co is to be ethically made and empower women. Can you share a little about these values and how you work to meet them?
Women’s empowerment was what Cloth & Co. was founded on. We have built long-term relationships with the people we work with and only work directly small organisations and cooperatives that provide continuity of employment, skills development and a safe working environment for the women and in turn their children. Where we work with artisans, they are generally families of weavers and the production is done in their villages or as in the case of or linen scarves, they are woven in a small unit run by an incredible Italian woman who has dedicated her life to the Nepali people. It has taken many years to build these relationships and they are at the heart of everything we do.

]]>Often we are quick to look for western remedies to our health and skin concerns, when really we should be looking in our own backyard! Below we have listed five of our favourite native Australian bush foods and the many transformative benefits they have for your health.
If you are familiar with our skincare, you would know that we absolutely love Kakadu Plum due to its potent Vitamin C content, making it the highest natural source of the vitamin in the world.
The fruit can be harvested from January to July and grows from the Kimberly to Darwin, and in Queensland[i]. Traditionally, Aboriginal communities have eaten the fruit raw, while the sap and bark were boiled and consumed as a tea to treat colds and flu, or used as a topical antiseptic and to soothe aching limbs[ii].
Kakadu Plums are 100 times more abundant in Vitamin C than Oranges, and have over 5 times the antioxidant composition of B=blueberries, giving the fruit the ability to provide a high level of protection against free radical damage. Vitamin C is also a key nutrient for boosting the immune system and aiding in collagen synthesis, iron absorption and heart health[iii].
Kakadu Plum is also a great source of the polyphenol (antioxidant), ellagic acid. Ellagic acid contains anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and prebiotic effects[iv]. It has also been shown to reduce collagen breakdown and reduce the skins inflammatory response to UV light[v]. The fruits high anti-oxidant content has also been said to aid in preventing and delaying cognitive diseases such as Alzheimer’s[vi].
In addition to these antioxidants, Kakadu Plum is also packed full of nutrients such as lutein (which promotes eye health), as well as Vitamin E, folate, zinc, magnesium and calcium[vii].
Try it:
Kakadu Plum is quite fibrous and sour in taste, so is most often used in jams, sauces and juices. The fruit can also be freeze-dried and turned into a powder to be added to smoothies, salad dressings and sprinkled over your favourite breakfast yogurt or cereal.
You can find Kakadu Plum in our Native Plant-Based Collagen Powder.
The Mountain Pepper Berry grows in southern NSW, Victoria and Tasmania[viii] and was traditionally used in Aboriginal communities for its antiseptic properties and its unique flavour. The berries were often crushed and applied as a paste to treat sore gums and tooth aches[ix].
Mountain Pepper Berries are four times higher in antioxidants than blueberries and have been linked to preventing diseases such as cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular diseases[x]. Studies have shown the berries unique antiviral properties and ability to inhibit the growth of some bacteria[xi].
Mountain Pepper contains many vitamins and nutrients such as Vitamin E, lutein, zinc, magnesium and calcium. Polygodial found in the berry can be used as an anti-inflammatory to treat issues such as asthma and arthritis. Polygodial is also used to promote gut health by soothing irritation and protecting the stomach lining[xii].
Mountain Pepper Berry is used for its antioxidant content to prevent free radical damage and premature skin ageing. The plant also contains anthocyanins which stimulate collagen production resulting in plump, youthful skin.
Try it:
The berries can be crushed and used similarly to pepper to add flavour to both sweet and savoury dishes[xiii]. The Mountain Pepper also produces small white flowers, which can be used fresh to garnish salads or desserts.
You can find Mountain Pepper Berry in our Native Plant-Based Collagen Powder.
Growing across arid and semiarid regions of Australia, the Quandong fruit contains twice the amount of Vitamin C as an Orange. Traditionally Aboriginal peoples considered the fruit to be a great substitute for meat due to its high protein content, while the bark and leaves were used for ceremonial and medicinal purposes[xiv]. The seed of the fruit was often used to cure toothaches or sore gums by crushing and turning it into a paste[xv].
Quandong contains the second highest amount of antioxidants naturally available (with Kakadu Plum being the highest). Its antioxidant content provides free radical fighting powers which work to protect the skin and the body from damage. It contains potent levels of Vitamin C and rutin, a fantastic anti-inflammatory that has been shown to strengthen skin capillaries, soothe sensitive skin and reduce dark circles and puffy eyes.
The fruit also contains phenolic acid, which provides anti-microbial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and boost the immune system. Quandong is also considered a good source of magnesium, iron and zinc.
Try it:
Due to its sweet flavour, the Quandong can be eaten fresh and is often used in baking such as fruit pies and desserts.
You can also find Quandong in our Native Plant-Based Collagen Powder.
Davidson Plum can be found growing wild in the sub-tropical regions of Northern Queensland, down to far-north New South Wales.
Davidson Plum is most prized for its abundance of anthocyanins, an antioxidant more potent than that of Blueberries. The plum is also a great source of potassium, which encourages healthy function of the heart, muscles, nerves, and kidneys[xvi].
Davidson Plum has a higher content of Lutein than avocado. Lutein is a carotenoid vitamin that is important for eye health and has been shown to improve symptoms of age-related vision loss[xvii].
The Davidson Plum is also a great source of skin-loving Vitamin E, C and Zinc, as well as calcium.
Try it:
The Davidson Plum has a very tart and acidic flavour so is rarely eaten fresh. The fruit is most often used in jams, sauces and chutneys[xviii].
You can also find Davidson Plum in our Gut Replenish Powder.
Growing wild in the tropical areas of Queensland and NSW, Riberries were considered a delicious sweet treat by Aboriginal children. The Riberry was often used a “medicine berry” among Aboriginal communities due to its ability to fight off colds, boost the immune system and treat ear infections[xix].
Riberries are another Australian bush food with a higher antioxidant content than blueberries due to their abundance of anthocyanins. High levels of Vitamin B-9 found in the Riberry is essential for the healthy development of babies during pregnancy[xx].
Riberries are also rich in manganese, calcium, Vitamins A, C and E, Zinc, Potassium and Sodium.
Try it:
Riberries have a refreshing flavour with hints of clove and cinnamon. The berry can be eaten fresh or used in teas, sauces, salads and desserts.
You can also find Riberries in our Gut Replenish Powder.

]]>If you have been following us for some time you would know that we LOVE Australian wildcrafted extracts and their unique ability to ramp up the antioxidant profile of your skincare routine. Two of the Australian native ingredients which are not widely used but incredibly unique in their skin rejuvenating benefits include Sandalwood Seed and Snowflower Seed.
Read on to find out what makes these seeds so unique and why you need them in your skincare routine.
]]>Derived from the tea tree species, Snowflower is a unique botanical producing beautiful white fluffy flowers with an abundance of beauty-loving vitamins.
What makes it unique?
Snowflower grows wild in the tropical and subtropical regions of the North Coast and Northern Tablelands of NSW and southern Queensland. The flower contains many active phytonutrients that deliver anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory and skin repairing properties. Traditionally the plant was used by Aboriginal Communities for its antiseptic properties to treat colds, wounds and skin ailments[i]. Snowflower has 100 times more antioxidnats than Vitamin C, and 25 times more than Vitamin E, making it a powerful anti-ageing and complexion enhancing ingredient.
The beauty benefits of Snowflower Seed
Reduces pigmentation. Strong anti-inflammatory actions and an abundance of Vitamin C means the Snowflower Seed works wonders at targeting age spots and pigmentation. Kaempferol, a flavonoid glycoside present in Snowflower Extract also provides depigmentation and anti-inflammatory properties.
Enhances collagen production. The Snowflower is abundant in a specific type of antioxidant called catechins which are 100 times more potent than vitamin C and 25 times more potent than vitamin E. These catechins work to enhance collagen production, improve skin hydration and increase and restore the luminosity of the skin after sun exposure.
Brightens and reduces redness. Vitamin C along with Quercetin, found in the Snowflower Extract, reduces histamine production thereby reducing inflammation, working to brighten the skin, reduce redness and reduce skin sensitivity.
Protects against photo-ageing. Quercetin is a potent antioxidant which neutralises free radicals and reduces some of the damage they cause. Catechins and Kaempferol glycosides also inhibit skin photoaging induced by UV radiation which makes the Snowflower Extract a potent anti-ageing and photo-protective ingredient.
It will leave your skin:
You will find the Snowflower Seed in our:
Not to be confused with the familiar wood derived essential oil, Sandalwood Seeds are found growing in the desert and arid regions of Western Australia. It is well renowned for its fragrant heartwood, but also holds another prized gift – an elixir for the skin entrapped in its seed.
What makes it unique?
Aboriginal culture has played a major part in the uses of Sandalwood Seed oil and its uses today[ii]. The oil we use in our products is produced in a sustainable manner, in cooperation with traditional Aboriginal Communities throughout Western Australia, where the seed is grown.[iii]
Our Sandalwood Seed oil is derived by ‘superficial fluid extraction’. This is where high pressure carbon dioxide is used to breakdown the seed trichomes and dissolve part of the plant allowing for the oils to be extracted[iv].
The Sandalwood tree produces approximately 300g of seed during the winter[v]. This seed is rich in oils containing 28-36.5% of one of the rarest fatty acids found in the world – ximenynic acid. For centuries, Aboriginal people have used the seed kernel as medicine to treat arthritis and applied topically to reduce stiffness, and to heal sores and burns! Traditional Indigenous healers have also used the crushed Sandalwood Seed kernel to rub on the body to provide protection from the harsh Australian Outback.
The beauty benefits of Sandalwood Seed
Enhances blood circulation. Sandalwood seed is rich in the unique Xymenic Acid (over 38%) which has been shown in studies to increase micro- circulation to the skin. This unique blood flow enhancing property provides it with the ability to combat oiliness, boost skin cell regeneration and enhance skin firmness and elasticity, making it a great anti-ageing agent.
Improves hydration. High levels of xymenic acid and Omega-9 fatty acids provide Sandalwood with redness reducing and skin restoring properties making it helpful for sensitive skin and skin prone to redness and rosacea.
Enhances skin firmness and texture. Increased blood flow to the skin means that cells are being provided with the nourishment and oxygen they need to repair, revitalise and reproduce ensuring the skin is kept firm and that elasticity is maintained.
It will leave your skin:
Our & Exotic Seed of Youth Oil combines Sandalwood Seed, Marula and Sacha Inchi Seed along with Squalane (olive oil derivrd), Kahlaria Melon Seed and Sea Buckthorn to produce an Omega-rich formula with advanced-hydration and anti-ageing properties to leave your skin clear, nourished and youthful.

I have used pineapple and the exotic dragon fruit to enhance the skin-beautifying action of smoothies. Pineapple is a wonderful source of digestive enzymes which makes it wonderful for gut healing. It is also anti-inflammatory which makes it the perfect choice for acne prone or red skin. The Dragon fruit not only looks incredible and has high doses of antioxidants along with B vitamins, it is also a great source of fiber so will act to sweep away toxins and impurities which are playing havoc with your skin. Walnuts are one of my favourite Omega-3 rich nuts. Omegas are essential when it comes to promoting supple skin due to their ability to reduce inflammation and hydrate the skin from the inside out.
Serves 1
Ingredients
Smoothie Base
2 cups pineapple, chopped and frozen
½ nectarine, chopped
½ white dragon fruit
2 cups of baby spinach (or another green)
½ cup of water or coconut milk
Toppings
¼ cup fresh blueberries or other berries
½ cup granola or activated buckwheat
½ red dragon fruit, scooped in small balls with a teaspoon and frozen
¼ cup fresh pineapple
Handful of baby spinach
Handful of chopped walnuts
Handful of pomegranate

Combine all smoothie base ingredients into a blender until smooth
Pour ¼ cup of granola into a serving bowl, then pour the smoothie layer over the top.

If you have been following Edible Beauty for some time you will know that we are incredibly passionate about using an abundance of pure, wildcrafted Australian ingredients in our products. Found growing in remote and untouched territories in Australia these plants are bursting with antioxidants and raise the therapeutic levels of our natural skincare to new heights. Below are a few reasons why we love these Australian beauties in our products.
Southern Cross University of Australia has undertaken extensive studies to determine the active compounds and benefits of Australian natives. Using chromatography and techniques which analyse the chemical constituents of plants, they have been able to reveal the incredible nature of the bio-actives compounds contained within Australian natives.
The harsh conditions and extreme temperatures present in parts of Australia where these plants grow is thought to be responsible for the plants producing extraordinarily, potent levels of bio-active ingredients. The levels of anti-oxidants found in these plants have more than exceeded the expectations of researchers with these plants found to contain extremely high levels of key anti-ageing compounds, including vitamin A, C and E and other antioxidants. Some of these extracts boast more than 50 to 100 times the antioxidant activity of Vitamin C and E!
For this reason I refer to Australian natives as “supercharged’ antioxidants - they differ to traditional free radical scavenging activity found in your standard blueberries and pomegranates. This means that the extracts have superior anti-ageing, protective and hydrating skincare benefits with the below skincare applications
TRY IT: No.3 Exotic Goddess Ageless Serum
Containing the standout Kakadu Plum, which is the world's highest natural source of vitamin C, along with Davidson Plum and Lilli Pilli, this serum is teeming with collagen enhancing actives along with skin plumping Hyaluronic Acid.
Many of the native extracts used in our range are found growing in remote and untouched regions across Australia from Tasmania in the south, through the arid central desert, up to the Northern Territory and the Kimberley’s of Western Australia. We call these plants wildcrafted and the advantage of this is not only that the plants develop a super antioxidant compounds to survive, it is also the ultimate in pristine growing environments and take “organic” to a new level. Wildcrafted plants are:
TRY IT: & Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil
Snowflower is one of our favourite Australian botanicals due to its incredible anti-inflammatory properties. It has been shown to have have 50 times the antioxidant strength of vitamin E and 100 times that of Vitamin C, which means it is ultra-brightening, nourishing and collagen-boosting.
The native extracts used in Edible Beauty products are sourced sustainably and support local indigenous communities. We feel strongly about ensuring that our wildcrafted botanicals are sourced from Australian companies committed to corporate & social responsibility, positive environmental practices, undertaking initiatives to support the development of new primary industry markets & the empowerment of growers & indigenous communities.
TRY IT: & Desert Lime Flawless Micro-Exfoliant
Desert Lime is a glycoside rich Australian botanical known for its hydrating and collagen boosting actions. This exfoliant smooths the skin yet hydrates and brightens quickly and effectively and is gentle enough to use daily.
Experience the powerful skin benefits of Australian Natives throughout our entire range!
All Edible Beauty products contain Australian natives. Some of our favourites include Snowflower Seed, Desert Lime, Kakadu Plum, Lilli Pilli, Lemon Aspen, Wattleseed and Kakadu Plum. These ingredients raise the therapeutic profile of our range and mean that you do not have to wait for months to receive benefits from using our products. ]]>STEP ONE: Understand the physiology and triggers. Understanding the mechanism behind your facial flushing and common triggers can arm you with the information you need to overcome the frequency of the outbreaks. Rosacea or facial redness is associated with dilation of small blood vessels in the face. When these vessels become inflamed they result in the face appearing red, often with small papules and feeling hot. The cause can be anything from heat, exercise, hot foods, stress, wind or a change in temperature. Light skin, Genes, Helicobacter Pylori and facial blood vessel abnormalities have all been associated with this condition.
Until you have your rosacea/redness under control (using the steps below) I recommend that you try to avoid foods which have been known to cause an increase of blood flow to the face.
Citric acid, naturally found in citrus fruits, some berries and tomatoes, is one of the known ingredients to cause rosacea flare ups in many people. Citric acid is one of the ‘Four C’s’, a group of foods known to cause increased blood flow to the face resulting in flushing and irritation for those with Rosacea. The Four C’s include citric acid, chocolate, chilli and caffeine.
Other foods that can trigger flushing include alcohol, hot drinks, and histamine rich foods such as yeast, mature cheese, dairy and processed meat.
There are also certain activities that may trigger flushing that should be avoided. These include:
If you suspect you may have a parasitic infection, thrush or yeast overgrowth you may wish to have this further examined or seek advice on anti-microbial treatment to address this as there is a strong link between gut health and rosacea (Oregano Oil and Berberine are my favourite anti-microbial for this)
STEP TWO: Topical Aid. When it comes to preventing facial redness from occurring you want to choose skincare products which will reduce the redness, combat inflammation, and provide a strong barrier for the skin so it becomes resilient to increased blood flow.
STEP THREE: Slow Down. It may seem like an obvious one, but addressing your body's stress response is so important in reducing the incidence of flushing. I love using calming oils such as Lavender and Chamomile on my temples or will pop a few drops on a handkerchief and place this under my pillow. Have a think about whether you may be a bit burnt out - do you need some time out, are your adrenals needing some love and nourishment. Botanicals such as Passionflower and Chamomile can calm and soothe both internally and externally. You will find these in our No.3 Sleeping Beauty tea blend.
